OCR Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage Operations

This NVQ is designed to reflect the work of candidates who undertake varied warehousing, storage and logistics activities at Level 2.

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competencies of candidates in the workplace. This qualification is about the safe and efficient receipt, movement, storage, handling and dispatch of goods in a warehousing, storage and logistics environment. Candidates should have a degree of autonomy and be required to make decisions within agreed boundaries and limits. The receipt, movement, storage, handling and dispatch of goods could be by automated, mechanical or manual means.

These NVQs are work-orientated qualifications and are suitable for those who undertake retail activities at work. These are open to candidates, of either gender and there are no entry barriers on grounds of race, creed or previous academic attainment or learning.

 At level 2 this qualification would be suitable for anyone working in any Warehouse role and in any Industry
