Level 2 NVQs

But what is an NVQ?

An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is a qualification that assesses someone’s competence (that is the skills, knowledge and understanding they have) principally in a work situation. NVQs are based on the national occupational standards that describe the level and breadth of performance that is expected of anyone working in the industry, or sector that these NVQs cover.

The Level 2 NVQ should be completed in approximately 6-9 months depending on how you work. The level 2 NVQ is equivalent to 5 GCSE grades at A-C grade. Everyone can do an NVQ and at this level we can normally get funding so that the qualification is free to the employer and employee.

You are assessed in your workplace and this can be done as you work so you do not have to attend any classes or take any time off work, so your already doing your job well why not get the certificate to prove it!

This is our list of Level 2 NVQs
