How much does a NVQ cost my company?

Time and commitment only – we only ask that you are committed to your people doing an NVQ and allow them time to be with an Assessor. They will still be working while being with the Assessor on many occasions as the Assessor is observing the work done by the Learner. In the majority of cases the NVQ/Apprenticeship is fully funded by ESF however there may be a few occasions (usually levels 4-5) where a contribution would be required. However this would be discussed as per your requirements and no contribution is required in the vast majority of cases.

How long does an NVQ take to complete?

This really depends on the dedication of the Learner, usually a Level 2 NVQ takes between 6 – 9 months and a Level 3 NVQ 9 – 12 months. But we only ask for 1-2 hours every 4 weeks or so!

How often would my staff be assessed and how much time is needed?

About once every 4 weeks, session time with the Learner is usually between 1-2 hours and will be booked in advance at your convenience.

Can the NVQ be amended to work in tangent with my companies own training programs?

Yes we can bespoke units to your requirements and to fit around your training and programmes.

Is there a limit to the number of qualifications any individual can take?

No, however there may be limits on funding. We will always do our best to obtain maximum funding on a case by case basis.
